Ivy notes that the Project M would have to exist approved by Bruce Wayne, but Selina yet doesn't intendance and announces she is leaving. Ivy talks to her plants, saying that they don't need Selina. —Ivy reveals herself to Bruce[src]

He questions why she is in that location and she informs him she is there to speak for the plants. He asks her to exit, merely she questions him well-nigh Project Grand. He is shocked, questioning how she knows virtually the project, and she refers to him as "Billionaire Boy", prompting him to realize who she is, equally she kisses him, putting him under her spell and demanding answers on Projection M. After receiving the answers she needs, Ivy poisons him, leaving him to dice a slow and painful expiry, stating that it is what he deserves.

Ivy makes her way to the GCPD and meets with Lucius Fox. She places him nether her spell and insists he take her to Projection M, while too placing the balance of the GCPD under herself, enervating they call her beautiful and give her compliments.

Ivy and Lucius go far at Project M and she retrieves Project M, which is actually Lazarus Water. Lucius questions what she plans to practise with and she deviously claims she is going to make miracles happen.

As Ivy and Lucius are leaving, they are confronted past Jim Gordon, equally Ivy grabs Lucius past the neck, holding him every bit her hostage. She and Jim greet each and she reminds him of when he murdered her father. Jim questions how her aging is possible and she says that offset she was a seed, then a sprout, and at present she has bloomed. She orders Jim to drop his gun or she poisons Lucius. Jim obliges and Ivy gives Jim the antidote for Bruce, in exchange for Jim letting her go with the Lazarus Water.

Ivy with her new weapon

Ivy returns to her hideout, as do the home owners, who demand Ivy leave. Ivy uses a flower she has concocted from the Lazarus Water to poisonous substance them.[26]

Ivy travels to the bar where Harvey Bullock works, questioning his whereabouts. When the bartender informs her he is out sick and questions if she wants to exit a message, she tells him that the people in the bar are the bulletin, equally she poisons them all with her Lazarus H2o plant.

Ivy films a video of herself and it is leaked past the news, where she states that she intends to impale everyone in Gotham Metropolis by giving their urban center dorsum to the plants, beginning with the people who accept harmed or betrayed her.

Harvey and Jim search for Ivy and somewhen find her, only for Harvey to autumn nether her spell. A spelled Harvey demands Jim driblet his gun. Jim tells Ivy that she needs aid, merely she states that she has to leave to prepare for her big plans later that night. As she leaves, Ivy orders Harvey to impale Jim and then himself.

No Man'due south Country

"You are so utterly naive."
—Ivy to Bruce[src]

Ivy tricks Bruce

Once out, she kills those that emprisoned her and was about to kill Bruce before he reminded her all the expert Selina gave her. Ivy then gave Bruce a plant that could heal Selina only reminds him that it could change her personality. Bruce and so runs away every bit Ivy watches him, smiling.

Personality

"I am absurd. Why are you telling me that? Why are y'all telling me what to exercise?"
—Ivy to Selina[src]

Ivy gets defensive.

According to Selina, Ivy is creepy, as no 1 would talk to her with the exception of Selina. When she meets Bruce Wayne, she does not blame his parents' decease for causing the death of her begetter and takes interest in the former, noting that Bruce is cute and playfully calling him "billionaire male child".

Ivy has a sense of humour; equally she answers the phone when Barbara calls and when she asks most Jim Gordon, Ivy lies saying that she is a friend of his. This causes Barbara to (incorrectly) believe that the girl on the other finish is a lover of Jim'due south. Barbara angrily hangs upwards the telephone, despite Ivy evidently significant no harm. Ivy is also loyal and cares about friends, equally she questioned Selina about the type of people she was existence involved with. However, Ivy takes issue with being told what to do, equally she got defensive when Selina told her to stay cool when talking to Bruce.

"Yes, people are dumb. Plants are ameliorate. You can trust them."
—Ivy Pepper to Oswald Cobblepot[src]
Ivy Pepper.png

Upon being aged into machismo by Marv, Ivy becomes more mischievous and playful, every bit she takes pleasure in Selina not recognizing her as Ivy during an encounter at The Sirens nightclub, and even mockingly tells Selina to run along and "keep stealing wallets". She has as well self-centred and somewhat thoughtless, every bit she didn't reveal herself to Selina unter much later - and that too only because she needed her help.

Despite Ivy'south growth spurt into adulthood, she still showed signs of a kid-like nature and immaturity; due to not having a natural progression growing upward. When she teams up with Oswald Cobblepot to create themselves a gang of "freaks", she sees the union as a big happy family. Nevertheless, she dislikes being talked downwards to and disrespected, as she aspires to be taken seriously in the criminal underworld.

On a more than comical note, Ivy was shown to be very gluttonous, as she eats all of Selina's food and after asks for more. Even before that, she complained a lot to Selina nigh "starving".

"Bruce and I have to go. You always did call up you were better than me. But without my plants, you never would have left your bed."
—Ivy to Selina[src]

Ivy after poisoning Selina.

After Ivy'south mutation, she seems to jump to conclusions easily and judge people very fast when it involves plants, with her having descended into eco-terrorism. When she learned of Project M that Wayne Enterprises was conducting with plants, she immediately causeless information technology was an experiment to develop new poisonous substance; she went directly for Bruce, as he was the possessor of the company. Her relationship with Selina deteroriates to the point of them becoming enemies; due to Ivy'southward dark and cruel behaviour, which leads to her trying to kill Selina twice. She has also become more vengeful, seeking to impale Harvey Bullock for her begetter's death.

During Ivy'due south fourth dimension in No Man's Land, she has largely lost most of her remaining humanity. She has become more manipulative without having to utilize her powers, tricking Bruce into luring citizens that had fought her off into a imitation sense of security - so that she could kill them. However, her love for plants has taken a more positive turn, as she wants to create a cute garden. When Bruce reminds her that all the people she kills and feeds to the plants resulted in zilch only a dark wasteland that smelled of death, she was slightly unnerved, showing that she is enlightened she has some faults in her plans. She also had a unmarried spark of compassion left for Selina, giving Bruce a seed that could repair her spine at the cost of unleashing the darkness in Selina (though she after tries to accept Selina killed anyhow, showing that her displays of humanity are fleeting).

Ivy and Bruce

"I'm so deplorable Ivy. I would never want to upset you."
"Only yous have, Bruce.
"
—Ivy and Bruce[src]

Still, Ivy continues to harbour a shell on Bruce. She kisses him on the lips to hypnotise him, even though she could've washed merely made him smell the scent of her perfume, which is how she hypnotised anybody else. However, she withal tries to impale him for what his visitor has done to plants and later uses him as leverage to escape from Gordon. When Bruce tries to get her help to save Selina, she is initially eager to kill him. When she later interrupts Bruce and Selina'due south date, having come to take Bruce to utilise him in her program, she states that he will love her, and after subsequently hypnotising him once more, kisses him again and teases Selina over Bruce coming with her.
